Set only yards from the Cleddau waterway, embraced in 1/2 acre of beautiflly kept waterfront gardens, which are shared with the adjoining cottage, this character stone cottage offers cosy,comfortable accomodation. if required, visitors may bring thier own boats and the estuary is accesseble at all states of tide. Launching facilities, moorings and use of tender (all free of charge) are provided; please telephone before hand to make arrangments. If visitors want to sail local boats, the owners will advise on yachts and dingies that are available. For the boating enthusiast, Rose Cottage is a must. In St. Davids, 0.8 miles to nearest beach at Caerfai This quaint character cottage is situated in a quiet location, in the heart of St. Davids only a short walk from the shops, restaurants, play-park, Cathedral and Bishops Palace. The owners adjoining house is steeped in history and, although it is not clear exactly what Prospect Cottage was originally, it is certainly an old building. In the main room, which is the lounge, kitchen and dining area there is a well that has been made into a feature. It is securely covered with glass and has lights down the sides making an unusual centrepiece. The driveway and access is shared with the owners who are on hand to give advice and local information. The cottage is so centrally located in St Davids a car is not essential. There is a good bus service, the owners can provide bikes and all amenities are within an easy walk. For a peaceful but convenient location Prospect cottage is ideal.
