During your stay in Pembrokeshire there really is a great choice of places to eat and drink, from relaxing pubs with good beer and food, using the finest freshest most locally sourced ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible, to daytime cafes, serving tasty breakfasts, lights lunches and afternoon teas, and many of them offering the most fabulous views of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Whilst there are many eateries to choose from and too many for us to feature we have chosen those in Solva, Porthgain and St Davids close to our holiday cottages.

With the talented Head Chef Matt Cox leading a young and enthusiastic kitchen brigade using the best local produce to provide a range of delicious dishes, accompanied by an extensive wine list and a choice of local ales.

Thirty five cafe offers a very warm welcome for everyine including children and families. A varied menu from light snacks to local seafood specialities, using local fresh ingredients, all cooked and prepared to order. Great coffee, homemade cakes, local ice-cream. Open late thursday and Fridays for fish and chips (eat-in and take-away). Riverside garden.

Light and airy cafe serving home made cakes with gluten free options, hot and cold drinks, soup with roll and cheese and tapas boards with cheeses,meats and olives.Child and dog friendly. There is a full licence and a series of events which run throughout the year but especially in the Summer months. Open 10.30 till 5pm Thursday to Monday, during the summer months, closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Free wi-fi is available. Closed duirng the winter months.

Great views, homemade cakes, light lunches, coffee, tasty ice-creams and licenced! The cafe indoor as well as a small amount of outdoor seating on the balcony perfect for enjoying the stunning views of Solva Harbour tide in or tide out. Crabbers of all ages catered for! Eat in/Take-away cafe bar.

A privately owned inn situated in Upper Solva, with magnificent views across the bay from two terraces. Real Welsh Ales and ciders, traditional pub food. Sunday Roasts. Free Parking, children and dogs welcome, wifi available.
