May Cottage at Hendre Farm is situated 2 miles from St Davids, in an area that is well known for its flora and fauna. It adjoins the Dowrog Common, which is a National Trust Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
This ensures that nothing un-neighbourly occurs to spoil the stunning location. In fact most of the neighbours come in the form of pheasants, foxes, badgers, cuckoos, cows and wild duck!! It was recently featured in the Griff Rhys Jones programme "A Pembrokeshire Farm Revisited"
The old stone barns at Hendre ceased to be used for agricultural purposes several years ago and the farmyard is now a peaceful area in which to enjoy some of the most outstanding views in Pembrokeshire. Just one of these barns that has been converted to form May Cottage. The high quality conversion has been carried out with the less physically able in mind; there is a ramp in the main doorway and no steps.

Lounge/ dining room/kitchen. all open plan with high beamed ceiling that follows the roof line, very comfortably furnished for 6 with colour TV,& CD player, gas 'log burner' and dining suite with a small selection of books and games, high chair on request.
Kitchen area with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
Ample parking for cars and boat.
Grounds: enclosed lawn to the rear, raised deck to the front with furniture and access to surrounding area, as described above.
Telephone outlets in all principle rooms, payment according to usage, and telephone points in every room.
Oil central heating throughout. All fuel inclusive.
Small, well-behaved pet by arrangement, at a charge of £10. Please be aware that the wooden floors may be slippery to some dogs.
No smoking in the house please.
There is ample space for parking of cars, boats and storage for bicycles.
PARENTS: Please be aware that there are 3 large ponds close-by.
