HOLIDAY COTTAGES IN SOLVA, PEMBROKESHIRE

With its picturesque harbour and colourful cottages, Solva is one of the prettiest villages in Wales.

Situated a few miles from St Davids, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the village is an idyllic location for walking, boat trips and fishing.

You will find plenty of places to eat and drink thanks to the bustling community’s wide selection of cafes, tearooms, pubs and takeaways. Tuck into freshly-caught crab from seafood takeaway Mrs Will the Fish or a riverside meal at The Hats & Barrels.

Solva is also home to a colourful mix of art galleries and independent shops, and there’s a post office and convenience store, too. And outside the village is a woollen mill, which produces woven fabric on its historic looms.

From Upper Solva you can enjoy stunning views across St Brides Bay or join the spectacular clifftop walks of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

In Lower Solva, meanwhile, there’s the attractive quay and easy access to the beach. Here children (and grown-ups) can explore the fascinating rock pools and caves at low tide.

Solva is ideal as your base for discovering all this beautiful corner of Wales has to offer.

TESTIMONIALS

Perfection is an elusive goal, but Yr Hafan is probably as close to it as one can get. We fell in love with the house, the views, the beaches, the walks and the many interesting places to visit last August. And (with the exception of the traditional wet Bank Holiday Monday) we have been blessed with two weeks of glorious sunshine. We don’t want to go home either!
KAY AND CLEGG FAMILY

This is a magical cottage with the most comfortable and large spaces you could possibly want. The cottage itself is great, I loved every room. The top floor was especially amazing as a chill-out space, great for relaxing and chatting. Excellent equipment all over each room. Excellent location… and Solva… stunningly beautiful!
