This fabulous holiday home with a large garden looks out over the Pembrokeshire coastal path and Solva Harbour. Ideal for larger groups or families Mount Pleasant can accommodate 10 guests in five beautiful bedrooms.

There’s plenty of electic charm in the homely living spaces at Mount Pleasant, which include a spacious south-facing sun room complete with football table. You can enjoy a stunning view of the garden and sea as you relax in this light and airy space.

The main living room features a log burner with lots of comfortable seating around it, and a second sitting area at the other end of the room for playing games or curling up with a book for a few hours – although not physically separated from the rest of the sitting room it does feel quite separate.

Another spot you’ll want to enjoy to the full is the kitchen/dining room with large dining table and floor to celing windows boasting more fabulous sea views. A lovely place to meet up for breakfast or dinner, the kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker wtih ceramic hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

  • Down a beautiful newly built staircase from the ground floor you’ll find the bar room with fridge, for guests to serve themselves drinks whilst relaxing in the sun drenched conservatory next door.

You’re spoilt for choice at bedtime, with five bedrooms each named after a Pembrokeshire beach and colour co-ordinated. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room with sea views.

The garden is a joy to spend time in, and includes a patio with garden furniture to enjoy alfresco eating and a stunning balcony.

Magical, a gem, heaven on earth, picturesque, idyllic, unspoilt; just a few of the words visitors to Solva have used to describe this delightful village. Once a thriving port - in the 1800s you could sail from here to New York, this picturesque fishing village, which sits three miles east of St Davids on the south side of the St Davids Peninsula, is in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

With its picturesque harbour and colourfully painted cottages, Solva is considered to be one of the prettiest villages in Pembrokeshire.  Upper Solva enjoys magnificent views out to sea over to St Brides Bay and is within easy reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for spectacular walking, whilst Lower Solva enjoys the bustling quay with plenty to do, charming high street with cafes, interesting shops and galleries, pubs and restaurants and easy access to the beach.
