The Durham is a beautiful, whitewashed family home that has recently joined our portfolio of Pembrokeshire holiday cottages. Following its full renovation and refurbishment, the spacious property is ready for your seaside getaway.
Dating from the 19th century, the three-storey cottage sleeps eight, making it perfect for a get-together with your family or friends. Its many appealing features include a cosy log burner, range cooker, 'suntrap' roof terrace, parking for two cars – and an enviable location right next to the scenic coast path. Plus, The Durham is our first cottage to feature a fast EV charge point, so you can charge your electric car for your coastal adventures.
And if you need extra space for your family or friends, you can also book The Durham's neighbouring holiday let, The Durham Snug, a self-contained one-bedroom apartment, ideal for a couple (and a baby too). (To find out more and book The Durham Snug, click here.)
The Durham and The Durham Snug share a porch, but each has its own separate, lockable front door.
Situated in a sought-after location in Upper Solva, The Durham overlooks pretty Solva Harbour and the breathtaking Pembrokeshire coast. The holiday home is in the quiet cul-de-sac of Penyraber, where you can step outside and on to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for invigorating walks and awe-inspiring views.
One of the prettiest villages in Wales, Solva is split into Upper and Lower Solva. Here, you'll find a colourful mix of shops, galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as the picturesque harbour and low-tide beach.
A holiday in Solva offers you a wealth of opportunities for walking, watersports, shopping and other seaside activities – such as crabbing at the quay. You'll also be within easy reach of other popular Pembrokeshire destinations, including St Davids and Porthgain – and award-winning beaches like Whitesands Bay and Newgale.
