Cottage

4st self cateringY Bwthyn Bach Gwyn (little white house) is a hidden gem tucked away in an idyllic location in Upper Solva, just a stone's throw from the the Pembrokeshire coast path and just minutes from the picturesque Lower Solva with its shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and pretty harbour with low tide beach. Lovingly renovated and refurbished this Grade ll listed cottage has been transformed from a derelict dwelling into a gorgeous cosy cottage offering a high standard of accommodation, perfect for 2 (and a baby). Comfortably and stylishly furnished the open-plan living/kitchen area has slate floors, comfy seating and a log burner for those chillier evenings making it a perfect base to explore Solva and the charms of Pembrokeshire whatever the time of year.
A little flight of fixed wooden footstep stairs lead up to the sumptuous double bedroom nestled in the eaves. (Please note, there is restricted headroom in the bedroom and care must be taken with the exposed beams.)
And although the cottage doesn't have a garden, there is a beautiful gravelled area with table and chairs outside the front door; the perfect place to sit on a summer's day or evening to enjoy a glass of wine or dine al fresco. (Please note there is public access through the gravelled area, but it's very quiet.)

LOCATION.png

Magical, a gem, heaven on earth, picturesque, idyllic, unspoilt; just a few of the words visitors to Solva have used to describe this delightful village, which sits three miles east of St Davids on the south side of the St Davids Peninsula, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
With its picturesque harbour and colourfully painted cottages, Solva is considered to be one of the prettiest villages in Pembrokeshire. Upper Solva enjoys magnificent views out to sea over to St Brides Bay and is within easy reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for spectacular walking, whilst Lower Solva enjoys the bustling quay with plenty to do, charming high street with cafes, interesting shops and galleries, pubs and restaurants and easy access to the beach.
