Yesterday, the Welsh government announced there would be a short “firebreak” lockdown in Wales to help regain control of coronavirus.

First Minister Mark Drakeford said the national lockdown would run from 6pm on Friday 23 October until the start of Monday 9 November.

As part of this, all hospitality and tourism businesses must close. Only essential travel is permitted during this period, and people won’t be allowed to travel into Wales for a holiday.

The new measures mean we unfortunately won’t be able to welcome any guests for the duration of this 17-day period, which includes half-term.

We know you’ll be disappointed if your booked holiday is affected, which is why we’re making it super easy for you to rearrange your break. Please call our friendly team on 01437 720027 or email so we can reschedule your cottage stay for a later date.

Plus, we’re now taking self-catering accommodation bookings for this winter – including Christmas and New Year – and for spring and summer 2021. After all, we all deserve something special to look forward to.
