Thank you for your support and co-operation throughout the two months since we reopened our Pembrokeshire holiday cottages.

It’s been wonderful to welcome you back to South West Wales and to see our coastal communities buzzing once again.

And when we introduced a few small changes to help keep everyone safe from coronavirus, you took these in your stride.

You’ve all been brilliant, and now we’re looking forward to seeing more of you enjoying our glorious beaches, exhilarating walks and cosy holiday homes.

Autumn cottage holidays

If you’ve booked an autumn break at one of our fabulous holiday lets – we can’t wait to welcome you.

Here’s an update on the changes we’ve made to help protect you, our staff and the local community:

  • For now, we’re continuing with our temporary departure time of 9am, and arrivals after 5pm, to allow more time for changeovers
  • Throughout September, we’re asking you to bring your own bath towels, as well as beach towels. But we’ll still be providing hand towels, bath mats, tea towels and oven gloves for your use during your stay. From 2 October onwards, we’ll start providing bath towels again
  • We’re providing you with a starter pack of masks, gloves and sanitising wipes, which you’ll find in your holiday let when you arrive
  • We’ve removed DVDs and games, where possible
  • We’re following industry-specific guidelines for cleaning and are offering PPE to our staff
  • We’ve been awarded the ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and consumer mark. That means we’re following Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have clear processes in place

During your stay, we ask you to:

  • Follow Government guidelines and social distancing measures
  • Support our community by shopping locally and using other local businesses such as takeaways, pubs and cafes

At the end of your holiday, we ask you to:

  • Open the windows at least an hour before you leave (weather permitting) to ventilate the property
  • Remove all food from the cupboards and fridge
  • Empty all bins
  • Strip the bed linen and put in the bags provided

What to do if you feel unwell:

  • If you suspect you may have COVID-19 during your stay, you must return home if it’s safe to do so or seek medical advice – and tell us immediately. You can’t self-isolate in the cottage
  • Call 999 if you have acute breathing difficulties

Please be aware the above advice could change at any time. But when we hear of any changes, we’ll let you know.
