Hamper

Our ‘Operation Recuperation’ guests are in for some extra special treats thanks to the generosity of business owners across Pembrokeshire.

The 26 NHS heroes who have been gifted stays in our holiday cottages will soon start arriving for their much-deserved breaks. And, as well as a well-deserved free holiday on the Pembrokeshire coast, the healthcare workers will each receive a welcome hamper of fabulous gifts.

Supporting Operation Recuperation

We were the first holiday rental company to take part in Operation Recuperation, the UK-wide campaign to gift stays in beautiful places to frontline healthcare providers.

Our family-run holiday letting agency joined the initiative to say thank you to the NHS staff who have been risking their lives to keep the UK safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

And we were delighted when 23 of our cottage owners came forward to give away 26 stays in their self-catering holiday homes in St Davids, Solva and Porthgain.

Welcome hamper treats

To help our Operation Recuperation guests settle in, we put an appeal out to local companies, asking if they’d like to contribute some welcome treats for each of the 26 visitors.

And the response has been fantastic.

Eleven businesses have come forward with a variety of gifts, vouchers, free tickets, and more. So, a big thank you to our friends at:

  • St Davids Food and Wine
  • Caerfai Farm
  • The Really Wild Emporium
  • MamGu Welshcakes
  • The Bench ice cream parlour
  • The Potting Shed
  • Wickedly Welsh Chocolate
  • Solva Gin
  • Love Nutritious Food
  • Twr y Felin Hotel
  • Picton Castle & Gardens
