You can now book a stay at one of our idyllic Pembrokeshire cottages for holidays from 13 July onwards.

The news follows today’s announcement by the Welsh Government that the visitor and tourism industry in Wales should start preparing to reopen.

Here at St Brides Bay Cottages, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, so we can welcome you to our fabulous coastal holiday homes, when the time is right.

Changes to COVID-19 restrictions in Wales

Mark Drakeford, the First Minister of Wales, said the owners of self-contained accommodation in Wales – including rented cottages – can start taking bookings.

That means you could be just a few weeks from a relaxing and rejuvenating break in scenic Pembrokeshire. You could soon be feeling the sand between your toes on one of our glorious beaches or the wind in your (lockdown) hair on the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Choose the right holiday home for you

You can take your pick from our enticing range of quality self-catering holiday lets in St Davids, Porthgain, Solva, Newgale and Pwllderi.

We can help you choose the right property for you, whether you’re planning a romantic escape in a cosy seaside cottage or a well-deserved family break in a spacious holiday home. What’s more, most of our properties are dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends won’t miss out on the fun.

Requirement to stay local set to be lifted

The changes to the coronavirus restrictions in Wales are part of a comprehensive package of measures being introduced step by step every Monday over the next three weeks.

Ministers have decided to lift the requirement to stay local on 6 July, provided COVID-19 is still under control. When the requirement is lifted, people will be able to travel into and around Wales.

The First Minister said: “The threat of coronavirus hasn’t gone away but thanks to the efforts we have all made over the last few months, the number of people contracting coronavirus each day in Wales is falling, so too is the risk of meeting somebody with the virus.”

He added that the owners of self-contained accommodation should use the next three weeks to prepare to reopen, working with their local communities.
