Ty Darren is a deceptively spacious ground-floor apartment set within a small barn conversion complex in Upper Solva on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Located off a quiet road, the charming holiday apartment is only a short walk from Lower Solva, with its shops, galleries, pubs, cafes, pretty harbour and low-tide beach.
Sleeping four in two bedrooms, Ty Darren is perfect for your next self-catering seaside break with your partner, family or friends. The accommodation includes an open-plan lounge/dining room offering beautiful sea views across St Brides Bay from the dining table.
Ty Darren is full of character and features lovely artwork (some of it by the apartment owner). It also has a pretty, paved seating area with a bench outside the front door. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee or simply sit and relax in the sunshine.
(Note: access to the apartment is via a small set of steps from the parking area.)
Solva – one of the prettiest villages in Wales – sits in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, offering you scenic walks, watersports, boat trips and fishing, all on your doorstep.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through Solva. This spectacular walking route will take you to the county’s secret coves, wide sandy beaches and quaint harbours.
Plus, Ty Darren is just a short drive from St Davids, Porthgain and Newgale, while popular attractions like Oakwood Theme Park and Picton Castle Gardens are also within easy reach.

Entrance
Steps lead down from the parking area to the paved outdoor seating area, and you enter the apartment through a charming stable door that leads into the hall.
Lounge/dining room
The open-plan living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa and easy chair. The dining table and chairs – which seat four – are set in a window, so you can admire the beautiful views across St Brides Bay while enjoying your breakfast. There’s also a TV and DVD player.
Kitchen
The stylish, well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
Bathroom
The modern bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and a shower over the bath.
Bedroom 1
A spacious master bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, mirror and bedside tables.
Bedroom 2
A twin room with a chest of drawers.
Outside and parking
There’s off-road private parking and a paved seating area with a bench outside the front door.
